Driverless, automated cars are being tested in a new simulator at the University of Warwick.The device, overseen by the university's Warwick Manufacturing Group, will be used to extensively test driverless technology and provide evidence of its safety.BBC Midlands Today science correspondent David Gregory-Kumar sat in the simulator for a virtual spin.

The plane left Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans shortly after 9 a.m., and landed without incident, Southwest spokesman Chris Mainz said. The plane suffered "a mechanical issue with the number one engine," the airline said.

The plane was bought in 2000, Mainz said. What caused the engine malfunction is still under investigation, the airline said.

Cosmetically, the F4Z looks like a motorcycle built for the aliens, with the curvy full fairing, single projector headlamp and the beautifully designed windscreen.
